RUN AWAY
After a winter storm, Gabrielle found parts of a boat that had washed on the beach near her home in Ca. She helped the owner try to dig the wreckage out of the beach, so he could haul them away. He said the boat was called the “RUN AWAY” and he had just moved it to Santa Barbara. He offered to let her have any parts, so she choose the galley window. She sanded, primed, resanded and painted it many times. She has hung it vertically as shown or horizontally. She added a sea gull feather to this unique 3D sculpture in memory of it’s former life at sea.
